The term my granddad James G. Barton, Texas Rancher, used when referring to someone who was less than honest. Very descriptive! Wonder where this originated?

Girl’s Gotta Have a Gun !
Went out to fill the water troughs yesterday,
and there lay a “rattler” all curled up just ticking !
Victoria took out her shotgun and blew that sucker away !
Went down our country lane a little ways, and
there was another one crossing the road !!!
He thought he’d hiss and “give her the what for”!
So, that one was a “gonner” too !
However on the ranch, nothing gets “Wasted” !
She took him to the house and skinned him
to make something out of him later!
(And oh by the way, thanks to the Supreme Court
for protecting the 2nd Ammendment ;
so we can continue to protect ourselves, our
children, and our livestock !)
